Incredible Facebook Ads Targeting…wait
So last night I was perusing Facebook and of course the ads displayed to the right to see what was being advertised to me…
The first ad was for an affiliate network…I thought that was pretty interesting since I don’t mention affiliate marketing at all on my profile.
The second one was for guitar strings…possibly my favorite brand…also quite interesting since I’ve been playing guitar for like 17 years yet do not mention this fact in my “activities” or anywhere else.
At this point I decided Facebook must know me perhaps even better than I know myself…and then I saw the third one…
i wonder what keyword in your profile led to this! I want to target it!
May be facebook does know more about you… just kidding. Yeah, the apps are getting smarter with your friends doing questionaries about you to see what others told about them. May be somebody was messing with you on one of those.

I have been noticing some interesting ads lately too, very similar to what you are mentioning in your post. There have been quite a few Networks throwing ads up to obtain new affiliates or hire new employees. Since I do not mention anything of the such in my profile either, I have deduced it down to the fan pages I belong to. I am part of the “Deadbeat Club” for adverts that don’t pay and that could lead to those Network ads. On another note…the last ad = FAIL!
facebook is now predicting the future? tbh you could probably sue…lol

Well, no sense fighting it… If FaceBook says you gotta take a gay cruise… Plus with a fare like that, who could pass up? LOL
